DIY Crafts: Recycling Tissue Paper into Art

If you’re finding yourself with tons of extra tissue paper, instead of recycling it, or holding onto it when you know you won’t need it again, make a DIY project out of it. These projects usually don’t require too much more than the tissue paper itself, and you don’t need a lot of time (or money!) to make it happen.

A Wreath for Every Season:

Make a wreath out of all the extra tissue sheets you have left! It’s a simple and easy project that will look great on any door during any season or occasion. What do you need? A round piece of Styrofoam, tissue paper, glue gun and something to cut with…seems easy enough, right? Head over to the Blissful Nest for a step by step tutorial on how to make it all happen! https://ablissfulnest.com/tissue-paper-wreath-tutorial/

Center of Attention:

Whether it’s an outdoor wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, graduation party or just a reason to brighten your home, you can never go wrong with a tissue paper centerpiece! What do you need? Grab some tissue paper, a holder, floral wire, old newspaper, shredded peanuts, and a drinking straw. Get Festive:

It’s time to pull out all the stops for your holiday parties! Whether it’s Halloween, New Years, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, or any holiday in between, get creative with your party favors. Not only will it look super cute, but your party guests will appreciate the time and effort you put in to go the extra mile. Get Active:

Who knew tissue paper would get you outside and exercising?! Well, when you make a kite using tissue paper, you’ll be doing just that! All you need is some construction paper (especially black), tissue paper, and yarn or ribbon. Interested in making this beautiful stained glass window kite?
